prices were impressive but the cucumber and ground beef price just blew my mind to planet Mars! I live in San Francisco, California 1 cucumber here is $ 1.99 and 1 pound of ground beef is $ 9.49. I usually wait until its on sale then I get about 4 pounds. Ground been in Ecuador for $ 1.79 for 1 pound. Just WOW!!! You can buy almost 10 pound worth compared to 1 pound here in the states! Insane!
🤯 Thanks for sharing!
The cows in Ecuador are athletic like mountain goats.
I see them on steep hillsides that really surprises me.
The ground beef is super lean.
You hardly get any grease when you cook it.
Try living here and walking up the steep roads.
You'll be lean too!
I would love to stay there for a while. Hopefully I will make a visit next year.
👍 Send us a note to info@abecuador.com if we can help! ❤️
Thanks Carl.

Love the vid Carl, Can't wait to check out Loja some more. We are jones-in to get back there, see ya in December!
See you soon! Thanks for watching! ❤️ 🙏
I'm a newbie here.
Shopping here is quite an adventure.
I have yet to see milk, but that's okay.
The beef is super lean coming from very athletic cows grazing on the steep hillsides here.
I'm loving it so far.
Hey David! Pasteurized Milk is available at nearly every tienda… raw milk is available from several places in town.
I'm about 10 days away from being in Quito. Getting pretty excited, and a little nervous at the same time. Going to see if I like living there, and I really think that I will love it. ❤️
Have fun! Enjoy your time William! Thanks for watching!
$3.50 for a watermelon. They were on sale for $12.99 here in Nova Scotia. Regular $15.99. Ouch!
🤯
Heck of a deal for the food, even from the "commercial" grocer, but the other services and products were not a huge difference in prices.
I recently purchased 4 new tires for my truck of a similar size and they were about $180 each but they were a more popular name brand than Roadstone.

Wow! Seven dollars (5:10) that big one (bananas) It's very cheap!
Thanks for watching!
Watching from T.O with jealousy.
Thanks for watching!!❤️ 🙏
Need to see a visit to the local meat shop one of these days. I'm curious what fillet mignon and a sirloin steak goes for 🤔
Between $5-$7/lb for filet depending on the source
@@AbundantLivingEcuador Wow. 😳 They're normally between $14-$25 a pound. Why even bother with eating fruits and veggies at those prices? 😄
🤣
A suit without vest, just pant and jacket, cost $16.00 in US. With vest I guess $20.00. Thanks Carl.

Carl...Quit playing with the melons! 😂😂😂
I'd like to know where you got those beautiful orange peppers?
I like HOT 🔥.
Was this in Loja or Vilca?
This was Loja! 🔥
Maybe I missed it. Is any or all of the produce "Organic" as in grown without pesticides/herbicides?
Some produce is organic, some is not.
Where would you buy meat in Loja? Centro Comercial?
It’s available many places, Centro Commercial included!
Hola a todos! I was looking at flying into LOH, but it appears Avianca does not offer flights from UIO anymore? What's the easiest/fastest way to get to Loja? Thank you.
I flew from UIO to LOH on Aeroregional not long ago. But otherwise UIO to Cuenca then a bus. or if going to Vilcabamba, the van from Cigale's in Cuenca.
@@glenbirbeck4098 Thank you., that helped a lot. We are about to start a project with UTPL and I am trying to figure out a way in and out without spending too much time on travel each time.
@kofatec3563 aeroregional.net/ They fly from Quito to Loja. Send us a note to info@abecuador.com and our admin team can you help set everything up.Thanks for watching! ❤️ 🙏
